Vera was born about 1929. She is the daughter of Alexander Fletcher and Gertrude Richards.

Tisdale, Everett “Boots” Peacefully, with his family by his side on Friday June 24th, 2005 at the Henderson General Hospital in his 77th year. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Vera (nee Fletcher) of 50 years on July 15th, 2005. Loving father of Richard (Ginny), Sandra and Lee. Devoted grandfather of Steven, Emily, Cameron and Fletcher. Survived by his brother Bill (Mary). Boots was a longtime employee of Dofasco and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. A Service of Remembrance will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue (between Fennell & Mohawk) in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday June 27th, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
