Shoione "Schlomo" Flug was born on 28 Feb 1906 in Russia [1] (now Poland) and his parents were Chaie (Szuch) and Harry Flug.

He emigrated from Russia and arrived on 10 Dec 1910 at Ellis Island in New York City, New York, USA. [2] [3]

Shoione "Samuel" Flug married in New York City, New York, USA to Evelyn who was born on 21 Oct 1907.

He graduated from NYU, and received a law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He applied for admission to the bar in 1929. [4] He was a partner at Flug & Strassler investment firm, and on the board of directors at Servus Rubber Co., which he visited frequently until his health declined. [5]

He died in October 1962 in New York, USA and was buried at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, Suffolk County, New York, USA.[6]
