Alexander was born in 1872. He was the son of Narciso Giovanni Foldi and Amelia Dorothea (Bogdan) Foldi He passed away in 1924.

The death occurred of Mr. Alexander Narciss Foldi of 'Calimah" Collingwood St Drummoyne, at the age of 51 years. Mr Foldi was a native of Sydney. For many years he was associated with Elliott Bros., Druggists, and for some years occupied the position of manager of the firm's laboratory at Rozelle. He leaves a wife and three children - Mr Keith Foldi of Epping, and Mr Mario Foldi, and Miss Zelmira Foldi of Drummoyne.
He was second son of the late Narciss Foldi, late Vice-Consul for Italy and nephew of the late General Antonio Foldi, of Rinini Italy, and Dr. Carlo Foldi, of Milan

Alexander Narciss Foldi (1872 - 1924)
Alexander Narciss was the second son and fourth of eight children born to Narciss and Amelia. He was born at home in Enmore on September 6, 1872. He was named after his Uncle alexander who was in New Zealand at the time.
He left the University of Sydney and joined the chemical works of Elliott Bros. Ltd. (now Drug Houses of Australia) in Balmain. He was employed there for thirty-seven years and at the time of his death was the manager of the laboratory.
Alexander married Evelyn May Farr. They had one daughter, Zellmira born February 26 1894 and two sons, Keith Narciss, born December 10, 1895 and Mario Stanley (Bill) born July 9, 1902.
