Biography
Surgeon Thomas Forster was born about 1780 at England.[1]
Thomas was a surgeon with the 75th Regiment of Foot.[2]
Aged 37 years, Thomas married seventeen year-old Elizabeth Blaxland, daughter of noted explorer, Gregory Blaxland, in 1817 in St John's Church of England, Parramatta, New South Wales.[3] They had seven children, the eldest three of whom were born in India and the latter ones back in New South Wales (although the family is not listed on the 1828 New South Wales Census):
