Biography
Martha Forster was born in 1821 at India. She was the second daughter of Thomas Forster and Eliza Blaxland. The family returned to New South Wales by 1826.
She married Thomas Rutledge in 1849 at (church code CT), New South Wales.[1] Thomas became a grazier with properties at Carwoola and Gidleigh, and member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly.
Widowed for five years, Martha passed away, aged 88 years, on 7th September 1909 at Woollahra, New South Wales.[2]
