It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jerusa by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.

It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jerusa:
Fowlkes-120 and Fowlkes-121 do not represent the same person because: There were two Fowlkes brothers (John and Joseph) who married two sisters (Sarah and Mary Jennings) and they both had daughters named Jerusa (possibly after what many genealogists believe was their grandmother's name).
In looking this up I discovered that Jerusa 120 (listed as dau. of John) was actually the day. of Joseph (and vice-versa). Once I figure how to make this correction on WikiTree I will.
Fowlkes-120 and Fowlkes-121 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. Please resolve the differences in birth dates and merge. Thank you, Mary
Fowlkes-263 and Fowlkes-121 do not represent the same person because: Jerusa Fowlkes (263) and Jerusa (121) are cousins (their fathers were brothers). Jerusa (263) was born 6/26/1747.
Fowlkes-263 and Fowlkes-121 appear to represent the same person because: Appears to be the same individual. I would suggest that the unsourced profile likely is mistaken as to the parentage.
Jerusa, daughter of Joseph (b. 6/26/1747) married David Ellington (b. 9/7/1741) in 1765.
Jerusa, daughter of John (b. 6/26/1765/7) married John Price and died 6/28/1789.
In looking this up I discovered that Jerusa 120 (listed as dau. of John) was actually the day. of Joseph (and vice-versa). Once I figure how to make this correction on WikiTree I will.
Thanks
Was Price's wife the daughter of Sarah & John and Ellington's wife the daughter of Joseph & Mary?
Thanks! (Came into this sideways, trying to figure the Henry Folks/Fowlkes who married Mary Bolls Jr - in Misissippi.)
Cheers, Liz
