Birth

Anne was born c1575 giving her the approximate age of 22 for her marriage c1597. In the Will of her father William Fox, (7 Dec 1595) he refers to his three youngest children Richard, Anne and Margaret, implying each was under 21 in this year.^[1]

Marriage

Anne Fox, daughter of William, became the second wife of John Bruen (1560 - 1626). They had seven children, four sons and three daughters. Known children of John Bruen Esq. and Anne Fox were as follows

• i. Nathaniel Bruen; Ch. 23 Jul 1598 at Tarvin, Cheshire, England^[4]; and was buried at Tarvin 13 Aug 1598.^[5]

• ii. Samuel Bruen; Ch. 7 Mar 1600/1 and alive 1637^[6]

• iii. Katheren Bruen; Ch. 7 Mar 1601/2 at Tarvin, Cheshire, England^[7]; d. Buried 30 Mar 1569 at Tarvin, Cheshire, England^[8].

• iv. Abigaill Bruen; Ch. 3 Apr 1603^[9]; d. 21 Apr 1603; buried Apr 26 1603.^[10]

• v. Deborah Bruen; Ch. circa Dec 1605 at Tarvin, Cheshire, England^[11]; d. 19 Mar 1608. Died Young.

• vi. Jonathan Bruen; Ch. 6 Jan 1604/5 at Tarvin, Cheshire, England^[12]; d. 13 Jan 1605/6 at age 1.

• vii. Obadiah Bruen; Ch. 25 Dec 1606 at Tarvin, Cheshire, England^[13]; m. Sarah.

Death

• Ann died Dec., 1606 at Stapleford and was buried 29 Dec 1606 at Tarvin, Cheshire England, four days after the baptism of her son Obadiah, indicating that she may have died from childbirth complications.^[14]. Ann was buried at St Andrew Churchyard, Tarvin, Cheshire, England.
