Oliver M Frasher was born 28 August 1827. He is the son of Micajah Frasher Jr and Lucy Gibson. He passed away on 17 June 1905 in Monroe County, Kentucky and is buried in Mount Nebo Cemetery, Tompkinsville, Monroe County.[1]
Oliver served in the Civil War. He enlisted on 10 October 1861 as a second lieutenant. On 10 December 1861 he was commissioned into "C" company, Kentucky 14th infantry. He was promoted to captain on 21 January 1863. He was mustered out on 31 January 1865 at Louisa, Kentucky. His wife Eda drew a pension based on this service from 11 July 1905 until her death 1 May 1914.[2]
