Martha Ann Freeman[1] was born in 1837 in Henderson, North Carolina, the child of Joel Freeman and Isabella Minerva Porter[2]. She married Larkin Henderson Freeman[3] on December 12, 1857[4]. She died in 1900 at the age of 63, and was buried in Gerton, North Carolina.
