His date of death might be 1818 - however, the headstone appears to be added later by a descendant; other records have his date of death as May 5, 1818 - both the stone and these other records put his age as 55. The stone is in the East Worcester cemetery, Worcester, Otsego, New York -

Elisha Freeman was born 2 Jul 1757 in Norwich Township, Connecticut[2]; he was the son of Elisha and Mary (Vincent) Freeman of Truro, Massachusetts[3]
In 1779, he married Lydia Reynolds, and had children, including:
Joshua Edwards, 1780, in New Brunswick; m. Eliza Morgan in Eastport, Maine, and d. 1851, in Lagrange, Ohio.
Lydia, m. Elijah P. Olmstead in Shodac, NY, and had children.
Elisha Edwards, March 23, 1783; who married Rachel Colby, April 4, 1804, who died Sept. 14, 1805. He married second Rebecca Plummer of Sheffield, N.B., on Jan. 21, 1807. After Rebecca died Jan. 13, 1817, Elisha married a third time, to Lydia Winters, on Oct. 10, 1819. Elisha and Lydia moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 1849, where she died Oct. 18, 1851. He married fourth, Mrs. Cowel, 1851; and fifth, Mrs. Schoonover, 1860. Elisha died July 25, 1861.
Nathaniel, Sept. 25, 1785, in Kinderhook, N.Y, married Clarissa Baker and had children
George Washington, born April 13, 1790, married Sarah Youngs and had six children
Cynthia, born July 4, 1793 ; who married Reuben Williams. and had 7 children: Alanson; Eliza; John; Caroline; Elisha; Olive; Henry
Mary, Aug. 25, 1795 ; married David France, and George G Warner of Schoharie NY, and had children, including ; James (who was a physician); Mary (who married Mr. Mann); Ann; David
Mercy Ann, June 3, 1797, in Worcester, Otsego County; at Clifton, Colchester, Nova Scotia, Canada married James Scott Simmonds and had a child; as widow married George Stacey.
Henry, 1799; m. Nancy Knowles and had 8 children in Ohio and Wisconsin
Stephen Van Rensselaer, born in 1802, married Laura Wolcott in Cayuga and settled in Ohio, where they had six children.

Bio has the date of birth the date of his death. His son, George Washington Freeman married Sarah Youngs (note the s at the end). They both died in Scriba, Oswego, New York; he in 1857, she in 1866/ They moved there in 1845. They had 6 children.
