Biography

Mary FUGATE was born about 1771 in Russell County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Francis FUGATE and Nancy Agnes VANCE.

She was married twice during her lifetime. Mary FUGATE's first marriage was before February 1793 and probably in Russell County, Virginia to Richard R. DAVIS.

Richard R. DAVIS was born on 6 January 1773 in Augusta County, Virginia and died about 1808 in Russell County, Virginia. His will was recorded in the Russell County, Virginia Will book 2, p. 218.

Fugate-482 and Fugate-57 appear to represent the same person because: Same individual, one profile is for her 1st marriage, the other is for her 2nd marriage. The profile with the 2nd marriage stated she was widow of the 1st husband.
