Ella was born in 1862 ^[1]. She is the daughter of James Gale and Eunice Pitman.

She married Charles Rand in 1882 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. ^[2]

Ella passed away in 1943 at the Lexington Home for the Aged in Lexington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. ^[3]
