Biography

Calista Gale was born on July 13, 1850 in Lowell, Massachusetts. Her parents were James Gale and Eunice Pitman. She married Alexander Poor on May 03, 1874 .

The announcement in Boston Daily Globe read:

POOR-GALE - In this city, 3d inst., by the Rev. W. P. Tilden, Mr. Alexander Poor, Jr., and Miss Calista A. Gale, both of Boston.^[1]
