Research Notes

Daughter Maude

WikiTree has previously shown Maude (Tailboys) Redshaw, Tailboys-31 as daughter of George Tailboys and Elizabeth Gascoigne.

George and Elizabeth had a daughter called Maud[1] but no reliable source has been found for her marrying, or having a husband called William Redshaw. Maude Tailboys-31 should not be attached as a daughter unless either:

  • a good source can be found for their daughter Maud marrying William Redshaw or
  • William Redshaw is detached as husband of Maud.
