Note that on her baptism record, Caroline's mother's name is incorrectly written as "Angélique Tessier." That is actually her maternal grandmother. It is possible she was actually the godmother, and the named godmother "Josephte Morand" is just a further scrambling of her mother's name (Marguerite Morand).
