William was the son of Isaac Geary and Sarah Ellen Finch.
William married Agnes Berberick on 19 September 1906 in Richland County.[1] They were divorced prior to 1913. In 1910, Agnes and their children were living with her parents. She was listed as married, but William was not with them.
William married Grace Fellenbaum on 14 September 1913.[2] They were divorced prior to 1917.
On 21 April 1917, William was married to Mae Iva Thomas in Richland County.[3] In 1920, they were living with his parents in Richland County.[4] In 1930[5] and 1940,[6] they were living in Shelby.

Bill ran away when getting off the train on their wedding day. Mae chased him down. Bill chase Mildred Fry, Bill & Doris Dixon with an ax. He was arrested but no charges were pressed. Mae felt sorry for him, he didn't have a shirt.
