Hi Corrine, I've been working on my Luckenbill line, with the hopes of figuring out what is true about Morton's review of them and what's not. I discovered I had another profile on Adam and so merged it with the one we had previously discussed. Do you ever think the ADAM may be Johann Ekel? I googled German pronounciations of "Ekel" yesterday and it sounds more like "akan" which is pretty close to "Adam". I may be crazy but it is so weird that I can find nothing about Johan Ekel in PA after the Thistle. I know there is a Barbara who married a Kistler (in about 1740 so she was probably on the Thistle), and a John (the one who went to NC and bought land in 1758) and a Jost (my ancestor who I can't link to Henrick or Johan Ekel) (who was married to a Susanna Yoder (and on one of the land grants/purchases is referred to Jost Henry married to Susannah). Jost died in 1822 (I'm sure of that) so he couldn't have been one of the brothers who first arrived. Jost and Susanna were sponsors for Christian's (born 1741 and son of Adam) sons who's name was Christian (1767). These men are all linked somehow. and it is crazy to think Johan Adam is Johan Ekel, but then I don't think Morton ever mentions an Adam......soooooo circumstantial but/and If you think I'm totally crazy just say so
Hi Corrine

Regarding your change in parents for my profile of Christopher Sipe, please ask in the future, and can you provide me a link to the "memory" you indicate. I have seen this connection numerous times, and in all the will documents, I have never seen a Christopher listed.
