Alice was born in 1877. She was the daughter of William Gellard and Eliza Payton. Her birth was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1877 in Chelsea.[1]

Alice had an illegitimate daughter, Winifred (Wynne), in 1903. She later married Alfredo Salvadore Ajello who was a piano manufacturer. He was a widower with 2 children. Alice's daughter Wynne later married her step brother. Wynne was a wellknown singer.
In 1915 Alice married Alfredo Salvatore Ajello. The marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1915 in Chelsea.[5]
In the 1921 census Alice (age 41), Home Duties, was the married visitor of Robert Punchard in Trinity Court, Nonington, Kent, England.[6]
