My name is Marian Winifed now HEARN nee Stokes.
Born in 1936 in England and lived in Tasmania, Australia since 1970. My first husband was John R Jellyman (now Osborn) and my second husband Eric James HEARN.
I have been researching the family history for about 50 years. My current tree is a new one started this year and going back to the beginning and trying to verify all information. Not always easy especially going back before 1500 with some line.
Any corrections or additions (with sources) would be much appreciated.

We're contacting you for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. We really appreciate your involvement in the Project in the last year. Thank you so much for all your help to improve Australian profiles on WikiTree.
Please could you reply to this message, or send me a private message to let us know if you'd like to stay on in the Project, and if you'd like to make any changes to the teams that you belong to. The teams are listed on Australia Project Teams.
If you've moved on to other things for the moment, that's absolutely fine. We'd appreciate if you'd let us know so that we can remove you from the membership list.
Over the past year, Australia Project members have been more active on Discord. We're finding it a fun way to communicate as a project. If you're not on Discord yet, here's some information - Help:Discord. If you are already on the WikiTree Discord server, let us know, and we can send you an invite link to the dedicated Australia Project server (WikiAustralia) where all our chat channels are located. It's a great way to communicate with other members on your project team/s, or for any general questions.
We're always happy to receive any ideas or suggestions that you have to make our project even better.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
The Australia Project Leadership Team ~ Gillian, Margaret and Veronica
Best wishes,
Marian
Regards, Margaret
Thanks for your contributions to WikiTree. This is just a friendly reminder to add reliable sources when you create pre-1700 profiles. An unsourced family tree from FamilySearch or Ancestry are not considered to be adequate or sufficient as the only source in a profile. A reliable source provides sufficient information for another researcher to find and confirm your research.
Thanks, Gisèle Cormier
Thanks for contributing your research to WikiTree!
I noticed that you've been creating some pre-1700-era profiles. This is just an important reminder that certifying to work on these types of profiles means that you agree to add reliable sources as outlined in the Pre-1700 Certification Quiz. Online family trees such as the ones found on FamilySearch, Geneanet or Ancestry are not considered to be adequate sources for pre-1700 profiles. Please make sure that you have at least one reliable source that you are able to add to any pre-1700 profile at the time you create it.
Also, it looks like some of your source citations are appearing in the Biography section of the profiles, instead of the Sources section. When I am done creating a new profile, I always find it useful to view the profile after I save it, because sometimes it looks different than it did in edit mode, particularly inline citations and other formatting.
If you need help with this, our G2G Forum is a great place to start. You can get there by clicking the link on the Help menu.
Kind Regards, Paige
It's time for the annual Australia Project membership checkin. Thank you so much for contributing to the project and Australian profiles on WikiTree during the last year. We really appreciate you!
If you would like to stay in the project, please reply to this message or send me a private message to let us know that you would like to stay on. Alternatively, if your WikiTree and research interests have moved away from Australia, please let us know and we can remove you from the membership list for the moment. You will, of course, be very welcome to rejoin the project down the track whenever you want to.
We are also keen to know if you want to make any changes to the team or teams that you want to focus on. Take a look on Australia Project Teams to see what teams there are to choose from. If you want to discuss this, or have any questions or suggestions about the Australia Project we'd love to hear your ideas.
Thanks for taking the time to get back to us!
Gillian, co-Leader, Australia Project
Best wishes,
Marian
I hope you got my private message on July 27. I'll resend it, just in case. I look forward to working with you. Kathy -- WikiTree mentor
The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out our annual check-in to see how you are going in the project. We'd really like to give you a huge thank you for all your work on Australian profiles over the past year! We've made great progress in 2020/21 with your assistance.
Please could you reply to this message, to let us know if you would like to stay on in the project and if you are happy with your current role and team involvement.
If you would like to do something additional or different, take a look on the Australia Project page to see what other opportunities there are.
It would also be great to get any feedback or suggestions that you have to improve the project.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Gillian, Co-leader, Australia Project
I am sooo grateful to you. You have done an excellent job entering all the family of Wladyslaw Lach-Szyrma. There were a lot I know! You have saved my fingers from wearing down. All I have to do now is put in all the dates I have found among my father's papers.
I am a direct descendant of Krystyn and Wladyslaw through Gerald Wladyslaw.
Again, thank you.
Francis Lach-Szyrma
Thank you for your participation in October’s 2020 Source-a-thon. Your contributions helped us to clear over 57,000 profiles that needed sourcing. This makes our Shared Tree all that much better.
Keep up the great work!

The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out a check-in to see how you are going in the project and especially to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles on WikiTree. We really value your participation.
Please could you get back to me by private message to let me know if you are happy with your current role and team involvement within the project or if you would like to do something additional or different. Currently you are on the Tasmania and Indigenous Australians teams. If you would like a change, you can check on the Australia Project page to see what other options there are.
It would also be great to hear any feedback and any suggestions that you have to improve the project. On a practical note, if you are a member of the google group, are you receiving messages ok? Also do you have Australia as one of the tags you are following on the G2G? Don't forget to add it in if you don't have that tag yet.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator
Have signed in to the next challenge.
Thank you for responding to the check-in message, and for your ongoing contributions to WikiTree and the Australia Project, they are much appreciated.
As always, within the Australia Project, there is NO requirement to do specific tasks, certain number of contributions or anything like that, just replying to any communications from your team leader, and contributing according to your time and particular interests.
When you mention adding tags to profiles, do you mean adding categories, or is there something else you would like help with? If you have any questions you are more than welcome to message me or ask in the Google group.
Kind Regards
Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator
Thanks for all the work you accomplished during our Connect-A-Thon 2020. It is amazing how many more profiles were created and added to our Shared Tree. You have every right to be pleased with your efforts!
Kind regards,
Pippin Sheppard ~ WikiTree’s Appreciation Team
Thanks for your contributions to our tree.
I see that you have been adding pre-1700 profiles tonight using "Family Search family trees" as your source. This is not generally considered an adequate source for pre-1700 profiles. Would you please review the Pre-1700 Quiz and the explanations about the sort of sources WikiTree is looking for, as well as our Help page on Sources.
Thank you!
Dave
Thanks for becoming pre-1700 certified. Now that you will be working on older profiles you will find yourself collaborating more with others. The best way to do this is by joining a project. Have a look at our list of pre-1700 projects and see if any are of interest to you. Give me a shout if you have any questions.
Thanks, Susie :-)
Glad to see you on WIKItree. This is your cousin from the Keys/Crouchman lines. One of these days were going to find our connection.
I just wanted to check in with you to see how things are going. If you have any questions about WikiTree please feel free to contact me. Michelle~WikiTree Mentor
You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Charlotte ~ WikiMessenger
PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
My name is Vicky Majewski and I'm the WikiTree Greeter on Duty at the moment. Noticed you are in Australia - so am I. (Darwin, just a bit north of you ;) )
