Richard's parents were NOT Isaac George and Alice Hattam. Those two people lived and died in Bedfordshire.
(((1. Another question about his parents is that he was a bastard son of Isaac George or Henry George who sent him to another town so he could provide for himself. Common in those days but his father did what he could for him. Was his Mother the provider of his Father Name. Was crazy back in them days to be a bastard with titles and names.)))
No evidence has been found that Richard had a middle name. That was very uncommon at the time.
(((1. Note that Henry may refer to Richard Son of Henry George and May not be a middle name but a reference to his Father which was common.)))
Also, no evidence has been found that he was a general and it is very unlikely. The earliest generals held that rank during the English Civil War (when Richard would have been older than 78) and were aristocrats.
[4] The first of these was, in fact, from Essex, but was Robert Devereux, 3rd Earl of Essex.
[5]
There is no evidence that Richard George was an aristocrat.
(((1. As for General or a leader of men could be a reference or a man of means which had money and could find his way to America. Without knowing what his job was hard to know. When he received title General may not of been in England. Does it reference Military or a Leader of men? Or profession such as General Store owner. Maybe more info will come to light. )))
Richard is said to have died in May 1632 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. No documentation has been provided for this date or location. No record has yet been located showing Richard George was in Virginia prior to 1632. Warrosquoyacke, predecessor county of Isle of Wight, was not created until 1634, so it is not likely Richard died in either Warrosquoyacke or Isle of Wight, Virginia. He probably died in England.
No evidence has been found that Richard's son John was the same person as John George.
(((1. As Bible's and New Info comes to light (depends on info lost by fire or hidden until discovered) Pre 1700 info is not all fact. Just a point of reference for future people reference as new info unfolds.)))

George-2302 and George-630 appear to represent the same person because: Hello, these appear to be duplicate profiles for the same person based on the vital statistic data. The date of death in George-630 would appear to be an error so would suggest - if you agree - going with the date of death in profile George-2302. Thanks very much, Leigh
