I understand completely. I am connected to the Camp/Kemp family, which of course leads me to your branch of Allen family. So distant cousins we are!! I had just found a whole bunch of find a grave and other information and was going to add it to those profiles, but wasn't able too. So I figured I would leave you a message. You never can tell if profiles are being monitored or not. So many are added and then people stop messing with them. So I try to always contact on one's that can't be edited and just drop a little message. It's always fun to connect to a family member in the process too!! Hope all is well, Misty

NP! If you need any help, or have any questions, please let me know! Once I hooked up your line to Richard, and did a check, I am related too. Figured I was, just a matter of finding the connection. You will have your work cut out for you on William though...finding the right wife as mother for Drury. Virginia Archives probably going to be your best bet.

FYI: On April 6 on AMC there is a show about the Townsends (I think it may be the Oyster Bay NY branch, but I'm not sure.) Do a search in G2G on Townsend's. I also hooked up Drury to his grandfather via William for you.  :)

Tereza, Townsend-1922 has been passed to you. I was just babysitting him for a while, he's not in my direct line. I also set up a merge for Lue and Louisa for you.

Also FYI: Townsend-2539 is head of the Townsend Family DNA Project and is actively recruiting for participants. I have Townsends's in my tree, but a different branch although if they are from Virginia, I am sure that they relate.  :) Happy Hunting! Nae

Thanks for approving the merges. My wife [1] is descended from them through Abe Jordan, Sarah Jane Jordan Ross, Elias Abraham Ross Sr, and Wando Jo Ross Selman. Would love to work with you further on y'alls genealogy.
