There is an Elizabeth Goodridge that married Joshua Saxton on 11 Sep 1779 but that is Elizabeth born 1751 daughter of Exekiel and Rebecca (Goodridge) Goodridge.
ELIZABETH GOODRIDGE, b. at Newbury, 20 Oct 1751; d. after 1808 when living at Clarendon, VT; m. at Lunenburg, 11 Sep 1779. JOSHUA SAXTON who has not been identified; Joshua d. at Lunenburg, 1783 (probate 7 August 1783). No children are known. On 1 April 1783, Elizabeth sold the property set off to her from her father Ezekiel's estate to Thomas Burkmore for £13.10. In October 1808, Elizabeth Saxton then of Clarendon, Rutland County, Vermont, sold her right in the reversion of the dower of Rebecca Goodridge to Peter Brown of Lunenburg for $25 (Massachusetts Land Records, Worcester County, 92:607; 171:143). Spinster Elizabeth Saxton was “warned out” of Lunenburg in 1791 (Cunningham, History of the Town of Lunenburg, S-Z, p 704). As Elizabeth had not remarried, this warning out likely refers to her. Elizabeth was head of household in Lunenburg in 1790, the household consisting of two females. In 1800 at Clarendon, VT, the household of Elizabeth Saxton was one female.
