David Goodrich was born on April 23, 1747 in Lunenburg, Worcester, Massachusetts Bay. His parents were David Goodridge and Elizabeth Martin. [1] [2]

He married Silence Joslin on August 20, 1772. [2]

Together they had these children:[3]

David and Silence resided in Winchendon where David settled prior to the marriage. They were members of First Church in Winchendon. Each of the six children of Silence receives ten dollars each when they arrive at age twenty-one. Well-beloved daughter Betsy Darling receives one hundred dollars and does well-beloved daughter Dolly McElwain. His three daughters receive to household furniture to equally divide.
