Biography
Sarah was born in 1835. She was the daughter of Spencer Goodson and Abigail Phipps.
She was not on the census with her family in 1850. She was living in Bond county with the family of her first cousin Sarah Jane (Goodson) Bird, wife of John Henry Bird and daughter of John Goodson and Elizabeth Perry.[1]
She married Samuel Spencer Avis on 19 Oct 1852 in Bond county, Illinois.[2] They had a very large family.
They were in Bond county in 1860.[3] They were in Locust in Christian county, Illinois in 1870.[4]
Samuel passed away in 1873. Sarah married to John M. Wilkinson in 1877 in Christian county, Illinois.[5]
She passed away in 1878.[6]
