Biography
When James Franklin Goolsby was born on April 26, 1906, in Lafayette, Mississippi, his father, John, was 28 and his mother, Mary, was 25. He married Josephine Baird Moore on April 18, 1932, in Lubbock, Texas. They had two children during their marriage, James Franklin Goolsby, Jr and Josephine Goolsby-Craig. He died on April 6, 1983, in Union, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried in El Dorado, Arkansas.
