She married John Riddell 14 Jun 1670 in Ballymeath, Londonderry, N. Ireland[1]

Children

They had ten children, 7 sons and 3 daughters.

  1. John Riddle (1)., bp. 1686 - d.1687
  2. Gawn, bp. 1688 (emigrated to America)
  3. Mary Riddell, bp. 1690
  4. Hugh, bp. 1692; emigrated to America and removed to Colraine, Massachusetts in 1763 , with his children: Hugh, William, Robert, and Ann, all of whom were born in Bedford.
  5. James Riddell, bp. 1695
  6. Robert Riddell Sr., bp. 1698
  7. John (2), bp.1701 - died July 6, 1757, in Bedford , and was buried in the old graveyard ; he had two daughters, Mary and Elizabeth , who died unmarried , and the family became extinct.
  8. Janet Riddle, bp 1703; married a Hamilton
  9. Margery Riddle, bp. 1707- d. ca. 1778 in Bedford, New Hampshire; married Mr. John Clark (no issue)
  10. Samuel Riddle, bp. 1710

John Riddell, his wife Janet Gordon Riddell, and his children, sailed to Boston in August 1718 as passengers on the five ships from Gann Valley in Londonderry, Ireland.

Gawn, Hugh, Robert, John, and Margery, came to Londonderry, New Hampshire, and from thence to Bedford (except Robert , who did not come to Bedford ) in about 1738. Their names appear upon the petition for the town , 1750 , including John Clark the husband of Margery; Hugh removed to Colraine, Mass . , in 1763 , with his children: Hugh , William , Robert , and Ann , all of whom were born in Bedford . John died July 6 , 1757 , in Bedford , and was buried in the old graveyard ; he had two daughters , Mary and Elizabeth , who died unmarried , and the family became extinct .
