The Facts (or what we know):
Manuel June Gragg was born 2 June 1928, in Mccurtain, Haskell County, Oklahoma. Manuel's parents were Leroy Gragg Sr. and Grace Hulvey. He married Betty Jenny Wallner November of 1954, in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. The divorced around 1962. He then married Evelyn Cantavespi 2 Apr 1987 in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. Manuel J. Gragg passed away 4 March 1988, in Redding, Shasta County, California, and was cremated. His son Jim spread the ashes[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
Manuel Married Betty Jenny Wallner in November of 1954, in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. They had five sons and two daughters[24]

In 1960 Manuel, Betty and their children lived at 911 South Emery Street, Independence, Jackson County, Missouri, USA... Manuel was listed as a 'Dock Worker'[28]
13 January, 1955: Manuel Gragg was being held in the Humbolt County Jail on charges of defrauding an Inn-Keeper.[30]
2 january, 1956: According to the Reno Evening Gazette, Manuel and two of his brothers (Robert J. and Rudolph H. Gragg) were being held in the Reno City Jail on vagrancy and disorderly conduct charges. During this time, his wife Betty and three children were alone in California. While he was being held, it was discovered that Manuel was wanted by the Kansas City Missouri police for First Degree Robbery. This had obviously taken place while his wife Betty was alone in California, and pregnant with one of Manuel's five sons.[31] Manuel was never known as a good Husband, father, or provider.
Divorce
In 1962, Betty Gragg finally divorced Manuel Gragg and moved back to Redding California (where her parents lived) along with all of her children. Her parents assisted her, while she returned to school to become a medical office worker. After she graduated and started working full time, she and her children moved into their own house, and she started a new life.[32]
