Smith, in "The Parish of Strathblane and Its Inhabitants from Early Times : A Chapter in Lennox History "[3] states that James and Agnes had "five sons and two daughters" but I have instead found sources for 4 sons and 3 daughters. He further states that the 4th son's name was William, and that he succeeded James as tenant in Cromlix. I find No sources to support a son named William. Graham-17201 20:25, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
There is another James Graham in Dunblane at this time, he had three daughters which are likely to be conflated with the children of James and Agnes: Margaret born 1731[11], Elizabeth born 1735[12], and Margaret born 1741[13] In each case, the image of the original parish register gives the name of the father's residence, which, although difficult to make out, is clearly not Cromlix.
