Biography

Lucy Grant was the second child of Reuben Grant and Martha Skinner. She was baptized 12 May 1782 at Lyme, New Hampshire.

She married Levi Metcalf Jr. Their exact marriage date is unknown. We know that Levi and Lucy had at least four children:

The Daughters of the American Revolution Magazine states that Levi and Lucy lived in Herkimer or Dodgeville, New York, though it was unclear where they came from before[4].

A book outlining the Grant Family states that Levi and Lucy were living near Hanover, New Hampshire[5].
