Joseph Shields*[1] Gray was born July 16, 1864, in Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of George Gray and Barbara Hoover. He married Nellie Rearick in 1884. Joseph Shields Gray passed away December 25, 1945, in Reynoldsville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.^[1][2][3][4]

Joseph lived at 409 Grant Street in Reynoldsville and was the husband of Nellie Rearic Gray.^[5]
