Biography

Mary Green was born abt 1825, daughter of Edward Green and Elizabeth Craun in Franklinton, Ohio.

She married James Melvin on 17 Aug 1846 in Franklin, Ohio. [1]

By 1850 she was widow Melvin with a 3yr. old son James living in a household headed by her brother John, next to their mother Elizabeth, still in Franklinton, Ohio.[2] It is not known if she died or remarried before 1860 but in that year James Melvin was living with his aunt Abagail in Franklinton, Ohio.
