Green could have been the father of Nicey Green. George W. Blanton (son of Elijah Blanton) had a half-brother named James M. Blanton. His mother (Elijah Blanton's second wife) was Nancy Harrill. They were the parents of at least two children: 1. Zora Lee: "North Carolina Births and Christenings, 1866-1964", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:HRQ2-T3T2 : 12 February 2020), Roxana Green in entry for Zora Lee Blanton, 1885. 2. It is possible that George W. Blanton died in 1892. Some suggest that a grave in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery is for him even though his memorial has it attributed to C. W. Blanton.
