[1]: Birth: Dec. 6, 1840 Forsyth County Georgia, USA Death: May 2, 1922 Oglesby Coryell County Texas, USA Burial - Post Oak Cemetery - Coryell Co, TX Curtis Green II was born near Cave Springs, GA to Newton and Malinda Gasaway Green. He joined the Confederate States Army in 1861 and served as a secret scout (spy) for Co. G, 6th GA Cavalry. He was captured by Union forces twice. After the War he moved to Coryell Co., TX. where he married. He had 13 children. All but one are buried in Post Oak Cemetery.

Jim, wanted to let you know that the R. P. Green is Reuben Price "Roger" Green. Did not know if you knew that or not. James middle name is (Saunders), Georges middle name is Irvin, Grovers is Cleveland and your missing one entirely. Francis Collin Green b. Apr 9, 1874 d. Jan 17, 1957. Also to let you know, I have a photo of all the boys together in a pic. Unfortunately the girls were not in this particular photo. Would love to share this with you. I am new to Wikitree and am hesitant to do anything on any ones tree at the moment with out you coaching me through the process. My main goal was so I could add Curtis to my tree without being blocked since he already had a profile.
