Biography
Minnie M Greenaway was born on 29 Jun 1882 in DeWitt, Clinton, Iowa to parents Rebecca (Arthur) Greenaway and Fred Greenaway[1] There is a date of birth discrepancy. SSDI shows 30 Jun 1882 on their index.[2]
On 6 Jun 1900, Minnie (17), three siblings - William, Rose, and Pearl and her parents Frederick (40) and Rebecca (43) were living at 251 Charles Street in Sycamore, DeKalb, Illinois and working as a milliner. Her father was listed as "alien" and working as a day laborer. Parents had been married for 19 years and been in the USA for 18.[3]
Minnie (23) and William J Duffey (aka "Bill") (31) married on 11 Jul 1905 at the Geneva Lutheran Church in Geneva,Kane County, Illinois.[4][5][6]
Minnie died on 22 May 1968 in DeKalb, DeKalb, Illinois.[7][2]
