Susannah Greenleaf, the daughter of David Greenleaf and Mary Johnson, was born on December 22, 1772. There is record of baptism for her from Lancaster, Massachusetts, so she may have been born there. However, that record is dated January 5, 1772, which was before she was reportedly born.[1][2][3]
Maj. John Ripley died in New York City on October 8, 1812, aged "47 yrs."[8]
Susannah (Greenleaf) Ripley died at John Street in Manhattan, New York, on November 5, 1812, at the age of 39.[1][2][9] She was buried at Saint Paul's Chapel and Churchyard in New York City.
