On 17 Feb 1914 at St Finian, Dromod in the Registrar's District of Emlagh and Union of Caherciveen in the County of Kerry, the marriage took place of James Griffin, (35) full age, a bachelor and farmer of Ballycarberry, son of John Griffin, farmer, and Julia Sullivan, full age, a spinster and -- of Burnadreen, daughter of Thomas Sullivan, farmer, witnessed by Denis McCrohan, Kate Sullivan[3]
James Griffin died 30 Mar 1948 at Ballycarberry, age 69, married, occupation: farmer. The death was registered by Michael Griffin, son of deceased, present at death, of Ballycarberry, on 21 Apr 1948.[4]
