Ethel was born in 1893. She was the daughter of James Griffis and Georgia Moore. She passed away March 7, 1910 at age 16 from consumption at home in Iowa Point, Kansas, USA.^[1] She was buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Highland, Doniphan County, Kansas, USA and shares a headstone with her father, mother, and sibling, Claude.^[2]

Research Notes

1900 Census lists her birthday as August 1893. ^[3] FamilySearch has her birthday as January 27, 1893 (originally Jan 27, 1883). but there is no listed source. (They also had her name as Edith for a while).^[4]
