Biography
Alfred "Frederick" Green Griffis was born about September, 1878 in Kansas. He was the son of James Albert Griffis and Georgia Anne Moore.
Alfred died about 1915, aged about 36.
Census
In the 1880 census Frederick (age 2) was the son of James Griffis in Iowa Township, Doniphan, Kansas, United States.[1]
In the 1900 census Fredrick (age 22) was the single son of Goiffis in White Cloud, Doniphan, Kansas, United States.[2]

He is listed as Alfred "Frederick" Green Griffis on FamilySearch, with a birthday of September 29, 1879 and a death date of 1915 as of 8/17/2022. None of this information has a documented source.
He is listed as Frederick G in the 1880 census and likely Frederick (not clearly written) in the 1900 census.
Summons by Publication (April 4, 1918 Highland Vidette) references a Fred Griffis, deceased, and mentions his siblings, father, and a Julia Griffis.[3]
He was not listed as one of the living children in his father's obituary in March 1925.[4]
