Biography

On 25 Jan 1847, Louis Hall was born in Ontario, Canada. ^{[1] [2]} In 1861, Louis was single, and living in East Hawkesbury, Prescott, Canada West. ^[3]

Marriage and Family

On 13 Jun 1872, Louis Hall married Elizabeth Sweeney in Carleton, Ontario, Canada. Although both were enumerated and Roman Catholics before and after the wedding, they were married in an Anglican ceremony and recorded as members of the Anglican church. ^[4] They lived in West Hawkesbury, Prescott county, Ontario where Louis was a journalier (day labourer) in 1881. ^[5] By 1891, they were farming in Pontiac County, Quebec ^[6] and were still there in 1901.

By 1911, they were in the county of Humboldt, Saskatchewan farming in township 34, range 21 West of the 2nd meridian. They continued there in 1916 and 1921. By then, the community was identified and Sinnett.^{[7] [8]}

1911 Census Saskatchewan is the last known record for Lewis Hall.

On 24 Feb 1919, Emma Blain died at 45 years of age in Spokane, Washington; Emma was married to Robert Blain at the time of her death. ^[10]
