In The Bahamas, around 1880 there lived two men by the name of John Hall who married women by the name of Ellen. They were John Matthew Hall & Ellen Pearce Hall plus John Francis Hall & Ellen Augusta Eldon of St. Matthew’s Parrish. They all had children during the 1880’s-90’s. The registrars who kept the Bahamas Civil Records sometimes confused them.
