Biography
Mary Hammons was born March 6, 1800, in Kentucky, a daughter of Revolutionary War veteran Peter Hammons and his wife Margaret. On July 25, 1822, in Knox county, Mary married Thomas Hale, born July 2, 1796, in Laurel county, Kentucky. [1]
Applications for membership in the Society of the DAR have been made by the descendants of Mary Hammons, who married Thomas Hale. [2]
