Biography

Frances Hancock was born in 1787. she was the daughter of Lewis Hancock and Sophia Ann 'Celia' Duncan Oglesby. Lewis and Celia had both been born in the part of Albemarle County, Virginia which became Fluvanna Co. Celia was a widow of Shadrack Oglesby before she married Lewis.

Frances married Peter D. Holland in 1807 in Franklin Co.

She passed away in 1844. She was buried in the Novelty Cemetery in Franklin Co. (FindaGrave Memorial # 822852290).
