John?? and Sarah married in South Carolina. (First child Matilda born 1819)
Census records indicate that they both were born in SC. Their son William T. had sisters named Matildia(Thrower) and Jaine (Haywood) (Campbell), brothers John F., James "Jim" , Andrew Jackson, Littleberry, Newberry, Simon Berry, Thomas David."

Not sure of Sarah Turner's maiden name. Have not found any proof of who her parents were. She and John W. Turner , her husband are both listed as being born in SC in all census records found on them.
There is much confusion on this Turner line because we cannot go any further back than John and Sarah. Still our Brick wall, and because of the decay of an old Turner Bible, we cannot be sure of the maiden name of Sarah. Any and all help is appreciated .
