She was born on 22 June 1925 in Marlow, Stephens County, Oklahoma, USA and her parents were Flora Ophelia (Simms) and Jesse Daniel Harbolt [1] or James Volley Gray.
Ruby Ann "Mildred" Gray or Harbolt married Rev. (Alex) Leonard Sullivan.
She was a social worker in Oklahoma, USA.
She passed away on 03 May 2005 in Lawton, Comanche County, Oklahoma, USA and was buried at Heavener [2] with her husband.

Ruby Ann "Mildred" Sullivan, 79, of Heavener, Oklahoma died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was born June 22, 1925, in Marlow, Oklahoma. She was retired social worker with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services in LeFlore County, Kiwanis Club of Heavener, served on the city council and was the widow of the Rev. Leonard Sullivan. Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener. She is survived by three daughters, a son, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Research Notes
More research is needed to solve the mystery surrounding Ruby Ann Harbolt and Anne Gray - it is likely they are the same person. Her SS# under the name of Ruby Ann Gray states that her parents are Jessie D. Harball and Flora O. Simms.
Ruby appears in the 1930 census with Harbolt grandparents and appears in 1940 with Gray grandparents. It's possible that her mother did not know whether her father was Jessie Harbolt or James Gray. DNA may be the only way to solve this mystery.
