Charles William Harbron was born on June 17, 1872 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom, son of Charles Levitt Harbron and Emma Lazenby.

In the 1881 census Chas (age 8) was the son of Chas Harbron in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, Yorkshire East Riding, England. He was a scholar and his father was a marble mason.^[1]

In the 1891 census Charles (age 18) was the single son of Emma Habron in Sculcoates All Saints, Yorkshire East Riding, England. He was a Mill Hand.^[2]

Charles married Elizabeth Drewery (born on August 3, 1873 in Hull, Yorkshire) on August 20, 1895 in Hull St Mark, Yorkshire.^[3] Their known children were:
