Arthur married Ann 10 October 1789, in Southampton, Virginia. She died before 1820 in Marion, South Carolina. According to original profile note: Name may be Anelle McCarty, but believed to be Elizabeth Ann Harrelson.^[3]

Wayne Alligood only show the children reported to be from the first wife and do not indicate the siblings of the second marrage. There is also an issue with the name. This report has Ann and Elizabeth as two separate whereas his index simplest Arthur's wife as Elizabeth Ann. This will require more research.
