Biography
John's parent's names were David Harris and Ann Beckett.
In the 1871 census John and Eliza had not yet married. She was at home with her parents and a sister Mary Ann in Studley, and she was working as a needle-maker. [1] John was also in Studley, living at his parent's home along with his older brother Caleb, and he too wasworking as aneedle-maker. [2]
In the 1921 census John and Eliza are living on the vesham Road, Astwood Bank, Feckenham, Warwickshire. John's occupation is cycle repairer at his brother Cyril Harris' garage. Their son Jesse is single and living with them He is working as a needle-pointer for Geo Hollington & Son. [3]
