Biography

Mary was born in either Ullock or Dean to parents James and Grace Harrison. She was christened in Dean on January 5, 1799. ^[1]

In 1841 Mary was living with her mother Grace and brothers John and James in Brigham. They were living next door to John Fawcett and his wife Jane. John's brother Joseph was Mary's future husband, this is possibly how they met. ^[2]

Mary married widowed Joseph Fawcett on 27 April 1850 in Brigham. ^[3]

In 1851 they were living in Torpenhow with Joseph's family. ^[4]

Joseph died in 1857. Afterwards Mary seems to have lived with her family.

In 1871 Mary was living in Brigham with her sister Eleanor Bank. ^[5]

In 1881 Mary was living with her sister-in-law Jane Harrison, nephew Joseph and niece Annie. They were living in Tallentire. ^[6]

Mary died in 1891. ^[7]
