Thomas Harvie is my 3xGreat Grandfather through his daughter Mahala. I have seen references to Richard Harvie being the father of Thomas but have not seen the sources for this. Only the references to Richard Harvie being unmarried. Can someone help me understand why this family is the scion of Richard Harvie. I have not studied this family extensively but need some guidance. Look forward to any information.
