Abigail was born about 1762 in Yaphank, Suffolk County. She was the daughter of Robert Hawkins and Deliverance ____?. She married about 1780 to Josiah Hallock. They lived at Rocky Point, Long Island. Abigail d. 1787 and is buried at her father's farm in Yaphank. The children of Josiah and Abigail Hallock are:

1. Elizabeth (Betsey) Hallock ,b. abt 1784; m. Joseph Davis, son of Israel Davis, and removed to Little Falls.
